Find out what has been happening this week in the Academy grounds with Miss Moore and Mrs Baker.

If you go down to the garden today, your sure of a big surprise......
So much has been going on since the garden club has been started. Reverend Williams was absolutely thrilled with the freshly grown produce that the children took to the Harvest Service at the church.

This week the gardeners created a bird feeder from a pumpkin. The birds absolutely love it and here we have invited some to share in the feast.

Beautiful work created in the garden this week to commemorate Armistice Day.


This week in Garden Club we have moved the compost bin to a safer place. Alfie A worked so hard in helping to move the contents safely and sensible .
we have also planted walled flowers to. Alfie W was working hard with Miss Moore.

Garlic is growing in the pots and the garden has had a tidy up ready for the new year. Bird feeders were also refilled for the Christmas break 🎄

The girls did a fantastic job and cleared up after storm Ciara - they put the green house back together - working as a team. They also fed the birds because of the storm as it blew away their food. Our ASNA snowdrops are also in bloom. Sweet peas that Alfie, Sophie, Mya and Lauren planted are also beginning to germinate.



Our potatoes that are growing in our grounds. So grateful to the children who have been in the academy who have looked after them. Amazing.
It is planting time. Our lovely reception girls have been busy planting today. Look out for tasty tomatoes soon.
